Relay

Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

Relay does not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on our servers. Your data stays on your device.

What Relay stores

  • Collections and requests — stored as JSON files in ~/Library/Application Support/Relay/ on your Mac.
  • Secret variables — stored in macOS Keychain, never written to disk as plaintext.
  • Preferences — stored in macOS UserDefaults (local to your device).
  • Session state — open tabs and window position, stored locally.

iCloud Sync (optional)

If you enable iCloud Sync, your collections and requests are stored in your private iCloud database via Apple’s CloudKit. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. PixelGuild cannot access your iCloud data.

Secret variable values are never synced to iCloud. Only variable names and the “secret” flag are included in sync data. Actual secret values remain in macOS Keychain on each device.

Network requests

Relay sends HTTP requests only to URLs you explicitly specify. We do not proxy, log, or intercept your API traffic. Requests go directly from your Mac to the destination server.

Analytics and tracking

Relay does not include any analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or tracking frameworks. We do not collect usage data of any kind.

Third-party services

Relay does not integrate with any third-party services beyond Apple’s CloudKit (if you opt in to iCloud Sync). No data is shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or any other third parties.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Relay after changes constitutes acceptance.
